IDEAS FOR SUSPENDED FLOWER DECORATIONS
Floral centerpieces may be a wedding and event staple, but there are numerous ways to have fun with this traditional decor. Whether it’s suspending flowers from the ceiling or adorning chandeliers with florals, take the flowers off the table and into the air for a truly stunning and unique look! Here are some ideas that will wow your guests…
1. Inverted Flowers

 KV WEDDING CONSULTANTS shows  gorgeous orange tulips suspended from the ceiling in various heights to add depth to this eye-catching display. Orange roses were placed on the table (in this case a cigar bar!) to draw guests’ eyes in all directions!



WE HAVE SHOWN bright yellow tulips and moss to create beautiful and simple inverted centerpieces. An exposed brick wall, hanging glass balls and a black and white table scape provide the perfect backdrop for this urban country display
.
2. Floating Flowers

We love the look of floating flowers like the ones above where delicate white blooms hang from the ceiling. More flowers line the table in a more traditional fashion that enhances the simplicity and illusion of the floating blossoms.

3. Floral Chandeliers

If your venue has existing chandeliers, adding flowers is a simple way to add an extra touch of elegance and whimsy to your event. kvwc shows two different displays:
Beautiful pink flowers of various shades and types on the different levels of this already gorgeous glass piece create a minimal yet striking look.



Many more flowers are used to completely cover and/or create its own chandelier. Rows upon rows of yellow roses are topped off with a crown of pink flowers. Absolutely stunning!
For an understated look, this floral chandelier featured uses a flower with a big bloom and color to add just a pop to this chandelier.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, for a truly breathtaking work of art, this enormous chandelier featured on It’s A Bride’s Life is decked with orchids and greenery.
4. Green Chandeliers
This approach to a floral chandelier that we featured previously in a Rustic Organic Wedding Shoot uses long, swaying, decidedly unruly blooms in mossy green and pink hues to completely cover a chandelier.

This, together with a table side arrangement in similar organic flowers, as well as hanging candles in mason jars, makes for an unforgettable rustic look.

The above wedding is just Moss covers the entire chandelier (which is antique looking to begin with) holding tall taper candles. Pink floral hang down in what appears to be a tent for a decidedly chic look!
